Beltech is a growing company. We stimulate diversity in education, age and level of experience. Here are some short impressions of team members that joined us recently.
Watch the movie: A day in the life of a vision engineer at Beltech…
“I graduated from Fontys Applied Physics in Eindhoven, where I did technical traineeships at IAI, Roth & Rau and Settels Savenije van Amelsfoort. The diversity in my job at Beltech, the work in multidisciplinary teams and the autonomy are a nice challenge. Within the projects there’s a lot of interaction with the team, and of course the Friday afternoon drinks are a good way to get to know the colleagues as well.”

“After studying Applied Physics in Eindhoven, I looked for an interesting job. I wanted to use my obtained skills and expertise in a practical way. I found this at Beltech, where I now work in multidisciplinary teams on different projects. Due to the relatively small size of the company and the open business culture, I am involved in every aspect of a project, which makes every workday very interesting.”
Mikel van den Tempel – Part of the Beltech team since April 2015
“At Beltech, most employees work at relatively short projects. This allowed me to work with different people, encounter new challenges and work in different fields (optics, electronics, mechanical, software, robotics, motion control). This matches my interests, my past education and my goal for the future. The energy, dedication and drive to deliver at Beltech is contagious, but at a healthy level.” Find out more about Pim’s story.
Pim van Rijn – Part of the Beltech team since February 2014
“Challenging, versatile work in a high-end industry. To clarify, last year I wrote software for: detecting the teats of an udder of a cow for a milking robot, the inspection of headlights for defects and determining the secants in carpets. Since Beltech is a small (but growing) company, your voice is heard and you gain rather quickly responsibilities. Learned a lot since I started at Beltech and there is still a lot to learn.”
Toon Vermijl – Part of the Beltech team since February 2014
“After using computer vision for social robotics I started working at Beltech. I work as a software developer on computer vision projects that often require inventive solutions. Research and development is an important part of my work. This allows me to use state-of-the-art tools and methodologies.”
David van der Pol – Part of the Beltech team since January 2014
“Never a dull moment or empty agenda. Balancing around 50% customer visits and 50% office-work I manage to keep doing what I promised. The versatility of the job keeps giving energy, it happens that on one day I start with pixel calculations, then write a marketing article and later join a brainstorm-session at one of our customers.
It’s great to see that the role of technical sales & marketing is getting adopted in the high tech and scientific working-environment.”
